FACIAL TREAT.
Buccal Fat Removal (Bichectomy)
This procedure involves removing the fat pads from the cheeks to transform round faces into more triangular ones, defining the cheekbones. However, despite being a simple intervention, it is not always asvisable; thus, careful patient selection is crucial, as it could result in skeletal appearance and premature aging in some cases.
The surgery is performed inside the mouth with an incision of less than one centimetre on each side. After the surgery, a compressive bandage is placed and worn for a few hours.
The most common side effects are swelling and bruising.
Torn Earlobe
This involves a sudden or progressive elongation of the earring hole. The solution for all torn earlobes is surgical, except in very mild cases where medical solutions, such as injections of hyaluronic acid or the patient’s own fat, may be considered.
-
Local anaesthesia. Time: 1-2 hours. Recovery: : Normal life, avoiding intense exercise and bathing in the sea or pool. Wounds must be disinfected, cleaned, and dried daily. After 7-10 days, stitches are usually removed, and one must wait a month to have new holes made.
Blepharoplasty
Upper eyelid blepharoplasty involves the removal of excess skin along with the orbicularis muscle, and in some cases, the removal of the fat pads.
Lower blepharoplasty:This technique involves removing the fat pads from the lower eyelid, with or without the removal of a small portion of skin.
The scar remains within the natural folds, making it usually imperceptible. Anaesthesia: This procedure is performed with local anaesthesia, and, if the patient desires, with light sedation. It is
outpatientand it lasts between one to three hours. The recovery time ranges between 5 and 7 days.
BODY TREAT.
Abdominoplasty
This procedure corrects the abdomen: skin, fat, and muscles. Depending on the area of the abdomen to be treated and the issue to be corrected, a specific type of surgery will be performed, along with its corresponding risks and contraindications. Thus, it is essential to make an accurate diagnosis. Firstly, it must be determined whether the area to be treated is above or below the navel, whether the issue involves only skin, skin and fat, or also includes the muscle.
This type of surgery will leave a visible scar in all cases, and its size varies. Typically, there will be a circular scar around the navel and another above the pubis on either side of the groin.
Anaesthesia:may be local, general, or epidural. The hospitalization time can be from two to three days. Duration of the surgery:Between 2 and 4 hours
Recovery:Approximately one month.
Lipomas
A lipoma is a benign lump that grows within the skin but is seen externally as a bump. In most cases, these lipomas are made up of accumulated fatty tissue. Generally, this lump grows slowly but progressively, potentially reaching a size that causes discomfort to the patient.
These lumps typically do not produce pain, although they may cause discomfort and limitations. Surgery to remove lipomas is performed under local anaesthesia. An incision will be made with a scalpel in the area of the body where the lipoma is located. Through this incision, the cyst and its capsule will be removed to prevent it from growing back. This ensures the complete removal of the lesion.
During the first consultation, the specialist will evaluate the area where the lipoma is located and check its size. The specialist will explain to the patient how the extraction and removal process will occur, where the capsule will also be removed to prevent regrowth.
Anaesthesia:Local; hospitalization is not necessary for the patient Duration of the surgery:60 minutes.
